12.04.2022, on the Day of Science, the XVII International Scientific Conference "Science and Education ǴYLYM JÁNE BILIM-2022" was held within the walls of the L.N. Gumilyev Eurasian National University. 20 speakers were announced to participate in the subsection of the conference "Religion in the Post-Secular World: New Opportunities, Borders, Challenges".
The thematic section was attended by: Chairman of the Commission Smagulov M., PhD, as well as members of the Commission - Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Shapoval Y., Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Kabylova A. and the senior lecturer of the Department of Religious Studies, Kaliev K., PhD.
Within the section, the relevant problems of the field of religious studies were discussed and the questions of religion in the post-secular world were considered. In their reports, undergraduate and Master students identified the problems of the current state of socio-cultural and religious activities and outlined ways to solve these problems. All reports were interesting, during their active discussion a lot of questions arose that require more in-depth study and shall become the basis for further research. According to the results of the Conference, the following students are presented for awarding: I place is for second year student of the group B033-2206-20-01 - Kanat Sharapat; II place is for 2nd year Master student of group M051-2206-21-02 - Amantayeva Karina; III place is for 2nd year Master student Bastimieva Kamila and 4th year undergraduate student of the DT-43 group Koshmagambetov Rustem, a 4th year undergraduate student of the DT-41 group Nauryz Gainizhamal was awarded with a letter of thanks. The scientific level of the reports is recognized as high, the topics are relevant, the presented works have undeniable scientific and practical significance.
