Excursion to the Museum of the first President.

October 18, 2022 curator of the department of physical culture and sports of the faculty

social sciences of the Eurasian National University Malkey Asyltek with his 1st year students visited the Museum of the first President.

The building in which it is located used to be the presidential residence, and since 2004 it has been Akorda, a more modern and more extensive complex. Around the same time, the old residence became the Museum of the first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarabev. In fact, this museum is dedicated to the latest history of Kazakhstan, the time when the country gained its independence. The museum was created by presidential decree, and Nursultan Nazarbayev personally received the first visitors.

The exposition of the museum tells about the formation of the republic and the role of Nazarbayev in this

process.

Within the walls of the museum, you can see the originals of unique archival

documents, scientific works of the country's politicians, valuable publications and books (often with autographs of their prominent authors), awards and collections of the most diverse and

interesting gifts (both to Nazarbayev himself and to the country as a whole), as well as other

exhibits that are related to the history of Kazakh society and states. In general, today the number of exhibits in the museum is more than 40 thousand different items. And since Nursultan Nazarbayev is a permanent President of the Republic to this day, their number is constantly growing and multiplying.

The students not only got a great impression from the museum, but also saw the history and

monuments of our country.
