Excursion of first-year students to the museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

04.10.2022 curators of the 1st course, teachers of the Department of Sociology Ph.D. Tagaeva S.B. and PhD Dosanova G.M. an excursion to the museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was organized. 

The purpose of the excursion is the formation of patriotic feelings and cognitive interest of students in national history, studying the life and work of the First President of Kazakhstan - N.A. Nazarbayev. 

Students of the specialties "Sociology" and "Social Work" showed great interest in the expositions of the museum, asked topical questions to the guide regarding the history, activities and functioning of the museum of the First President of the country. 

The Museum of the First President is part of the structure of the Nazarbayev Center, which is a unique modern architectural complex designed by the British architect N. Foster. This complex covers an area of ​​more than 30 thousand square meters. sq.m., surrounded by a green belt. 

Future sociologists and social workers got a wide opportunity to get acquainted with the ancient and medieval history of Kazakhstan, including the Sako-Sarmatian period, the Turkic period and the formation of the Kazakh Khanate, as well as significant pages from the history of independent Kazakhstan. The students were acquainted with the biography and with the professional and life path of the formation of the political leadership of N.A. Nazarbayev. Students saw awards and memorable gifts, robes and a collection from the personal library of the First President of the country - N.A. Nazarbayev. 

The first-year students showed particular interest in the unique modern exposition dedicated to the date of the country's renunciation of nuclear weapons. Thus, the students received unforgettable memories of the first visit to the capital's museum of the First President, experiencing a feeling of great pride and research interest in the activities of this structure.
