On 17th May 2018 within the framework of thesis work on subject “Psycho-pedagogical conditions in the development of environmental volunteering of future professionals” and the scientific project "Ecologization of the university system of education as an innovative way of modernization of students',1 year doctoral student of specialty 6D010300 "Pedagogy and psychology" Abenova Saulet in collaboration with Can. Ps.Sciences Mandykayeva A. R. held a training session where they discussed the main environmental problems in terms of faculty, university, city.
The 1st year students of the specialty "Psychology" on the basis of digital technology, information in the media, regulatory documents of the Government, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan were informed with the activities on the transition of the Republic of Kazakhstan to a "green" economy. The students also got acquainted with the basic ideas from the message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the people of Kazakhstan "Strategy Kazakhstan - 2050", including the urgent need to move to a "green" economy in connection with the accumulated environmental problems in our country.
The question "What can each person do for the country as a citizen, as a consumer?" triggered a particular interest. Some students actively shared their knowledge and experience on water saving, electricity and waste sorting, while others have yet to take the first steps in improving the efficiency of natural resources use.
As a result, they came to the conclusion that it was necessary to start environmental activities jointly at the Faculty of Social Sciences. This concerns propaganda activities regarding the purity of the learning environment, the saving of electricity, water, the greening of the territory and other activities. Opinions were expressed about the active work of volunteers, who were established on the basis of the faculty.
