Doctoral Education at Finnish Universities: Scandinavian Experience to the Kazakh Context

From October 3 to 9, a scientific group had a visit to study the experience of scientific training of doctoral students at the universities of Finland.

The trip was implemented within the framework of the research project “Research education in Kazakhstan: modification of the content of scientific training of PhD students (based on foreign experience)” (supervisor Yuliya Tokatligil).

During the visit of the observed research group Anastassiya Karmelyuk and Dana Ishanzhanova held meetings with the meeting of the School of Professional Teacher Education HAMK, Virve Kallioniemi-Chambers, Maaret Viskari, Maria Laurikainen.

The agenda of the meeting included the development of scientific programs for doctoral studies, the implementation of scientific achievements, the choice of a supervisor and taste with him, the rules for entering doctoral studies, support for doctoral students in the process of implementing scientific research issues.
