ASSOCIATE PROFESSORS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL PEDAGOGY AND SELF-KNOWLEDGE KOZHAEVA S. K., TEMIROV K. U. HELD AN ONLINE SCIENTIFIC SEMINAR

On April 2, 2021, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Kozhayeva S. K., as well as Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Acting Associate Professor Temirov K.U. held an online scientific seminar «Main trends in the development of environmental education», dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the university and the opening of the Decade of Science. The purpose of the seminar: to get acquainted with the main trends in the development of environmental education. During the scientific seminar, candidate of рedagogical sciences, associate Professor Kozhayeva S.K., and candidate of рedagogical sciences, acting Associate Professor Temirov K.U. noted the relevance and practical significance of ecologization of academic disciplines, i.e. the introduction of interdisciplinary links with elements of an ecological approach into teaching practice.

Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Kozhayeva S. K. presented a model of the formation of environmental consciousness of students in the report «The possibilities of interdisciplinary communication in the modernization of environmental consciousness».

Kuanysh Umirzakovich made a report on «The main trends in the development of environmental education» and noted that the goal of environmental education is to become an environmentally literate person with a new ecological understanding of nature, culture and consciousness.

At the seminar on the topic «Ecology. Development of environmental education» was performed by the undergraduates of the MPIP-22 group, studying under the educational program «7M01103-Pedagogy and Psychology». A special feature of this seminar is a large audience of listeners, as well as their active participation. PhD, senior lecturer Abenova S. U., Master's student Akimish D. E. noting the importance of this event, invited students and everyone to join the club of environmental volunteers of the university.

In conclusion, associate professors Kozhayeva S. K., Temirov K. U. emphasized the need to raise the level of ecological culture, where interdisciplinary connections reflect ecological consciousness, ecological faith, responsibility and a reasonable attitude to the environment for students to master nature as a whole.
