TEMIROV K. U. SPOKE AT THE PLENARY SESSION OF THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND THEORETICAL ONLINE CONFERENCE IN THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

On April 14, 2021, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Self-Knowledge Temirov K. U. made a report on "The regional component of environmental education and upbringing of primary school children" at the plenary session of the international scientific and theoretical online conference on "Issues of implementing scientific and innovative technologies in improving the quality of education and upbringing" organized by the Department of Primary Education of the Nukus State Pedagogical Institute named after Azhiniyaz.

Kuanysh Umirzakovich in his speech emphasized the need to greenize the education of primary school students on the basis of the regional component, since the comprehensively specialized use of natural science knowledge in environmental education is a leading factor in the formation of the student's personality.

The goal of environmental education is to become an environmentally literate person with a new ecological understanding of nature, culture and consciousness.

In conclusion, K. U. Temirov noted the need to form an attitude to nature among younger schoolchildren not only at the level of knowledge and feeling, but also at the level of understanding the importance of caring for the environment and preserving biodiversity on Earth, i.e. knowledge in the field of interaction between man and nature. Kuanysh Umirzakovich emphasized that the task of the school is not just to provide information to younger students on ecology, but also to form a new culture of attitude to nature.

The conference was attended by scientists from the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov, Nukus State Pedagogical Institute named after Azhiniyaz, Tashkent State Pedagogical University, Moscow State Pedagogical University, Kuban State University, Pedagogical Institute of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute, Nukus branch of Tashkent State Agrarian University, Termez State University, Urgench State University, Toshkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi, Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami.
