The situation of the pandemic, in which the world community as a whole and my country in particular, finds itself, compels us to take extraordinary measures in the conduct of our daily affairs. Especially, not only did it happen during industrial practice, but also the students of the Department of Religious Studies, together with teachers and bases of practice, coped with it successfully.
2nd and 3rd year bachelor students of the Department of Religious Studies were practicing online with the active participation of practice bases and employers. In particular, online lectures of the following organizations were held:

In addition, the heads of practice and teachers of the department to improve the level of theoretical knowledge in the context of their use in professional activity actively carried out activities. In particular, the following activities were carried out:
1. An online lecture on the ZOOM program was held, on the theme "The bases of practice of the department and their specifics". At this event, students were provided with information on the activities of practice bases and their specifics. Answers to students' questions on the topic of the lecture session were also given;
2. An online lecture on Microsoft Teams was held on the topic "Destructive organizations and methods of their identification". Tyshkhan Kenshilik, Head of Department, who also shared his experience of his participation in the program «Zhusan», gave this lecture. Answers to students' questions on the topic of lecture session were also given;
3. An online lecture on Microsoft Teams program was held on "Remote format of industrial activity". Timur Talgatovich Aimukhambetov, senior lecturer, who also shared his experience of working in a remote format during the pandemic, gave this lecture. Answers to students' questions on the topic of the lecture were also given;
4. An online lecture on Microsoft Teams program was held on the theme "Increasing activity in R&D to increase competitiveness in the labor market". This lecture was given by Timur Talgatovich Aimukhambetov, senior lecturer, who also shared his experience in preparing for publication of scientific materials. Answers to students' questions on the topic of the lecture session were also given;
5. An online seminar on Microsoft Teams was held. The seminar was conducted by senior lecturer Alimkulova Saltanat Bektemirovna, who answered students' questions on the seminar topic.
An important factor was the active participation of students in the activities of the Department's bases, other organizations and performing independent work by certain heads of practice.
In particular, it is not the first year our students have been volunteers of the "Center for the Study of Religious Problems" LLP in Nur-Sultan, where they are actively manifesting themselves in the professional sphere. This year they also took part not only passively in online activities of this organization, but also active in the form of presentations on various topics of their specialization. This year, the following students have been active: Bidolda Zhaikal, Nauryz Gainizhamal, Zharylkasyn Dauletseid, Serikbai Moldir, Kabden Uali, Abilov Alpamys and Master of Science Bekseitova Ainura.

In addition, 2-3 year students of the Department of Religious Studies actively participated in the activities of partner organizations of the Department. In particular, through the social network Instagram, they took part in two events of KSU "Center for Analysis and Development of Interfaith Relations".
1. 03.06.2020 online lecture by Zakaryanov Daulet on "Religious extremism from the Internet - a real threat of modernity".
2. 12.06.2020 online lecture by Esenalieva Aigul on "signs of destructive cults".
The following tasks were also defined as part of the students' independent work:
1. Preparation of an essay to analyze students' potential and a profile of their professional orientation;
2. Preparation of first scientific publications for analysis of potential for future analytical activity of students
3. Preparing a multimedia presentation to prepare students for online work.
In general, despite the difficulties and the very fact of conducting internships online for the first time, the students of the Department of Religious Studies have coped with the goal and objectives of professional practice. This was greatly facilitated by the assistance of the responsible for the practice at the Department of Social Sciences in particular and the Department of Business and Career in general.
