On October 1-2, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, an international jiu-jitsu tournament was held. 850 athletes from 20 strong teams from all over Asia took part in the competition. 10 athletes of the sports club "ARMJJ" of Astana took part in the sports competition, in which world athletes took part. One of them Batyrbekov Nurzhan, a 4th year student of the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports" of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Eurasian National University, the pride of the university, took part in the competition and became the champion of the tournament. Our athlete had 3 fights in the 69 kg weight category, in the first match he won the match against an athlete from Colombia, and in the second match he defeated an athlete from Brazil with a score of 6:5 and reached the final. In the final match, he met with our compatriot, an athlete from Kazakhstan, and won with a score of 7:2, justifying the hopes of the whole country, the university and the coach Armanzhan Ruzakhunov.
