The main areas of work of the Department of "Physical Culture and Sport" in the field of international cooperation:
- carrying out activities to expand and strengthen international contacts and cooperation, as well as enhancing interaction with international and regional organizations, foreign universities, foundations and programs;
- organization of mutual exchange of teachers, undergraduates and students in the development of contracts and projects of long-term cooperation programs with foreign partner universities;
- inviting domestic and foreign scientists to give lectures, conduct master classes and organize scientific research.
As part of the program of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan to attract foreign scientists, in September 2022, Ph.D., Professor of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of Omsk State Technical University (RF) Sagiev T.A. was invited to the department to conduct consultations, scientific seminars, master classes, lectures to students of the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports" in the disciplines: "Sports injuries and physical therapy"; "Physiological foundations of physical education and sports"; "Innovative methods of training process management"., employees and teaching staff. Lectures were given for the staff and teaching staff of the department "What do I need to do to publish an article in the rating journals Scopus, Web of Science? Basic tips and mistakes when submitting material", master classes were held. It is planned to jointly publish articles in highly rated journals included in the international database Scopus, WoS.
In order to implement academic mobility within the framework of the Memorandum on mutual cooperation in the provision of educational services between the L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University and the Nukus branch of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports, a visit was made by U.S. Marchibayeva, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports and N.A. Moiseeva, senior a teacher in the Republic of Karakalpakstan in the period from November 28 to November 30, 2022, at the invitation of the head of the branch, MambetovB.Zh. During the stay, lectures-visualizations, lectures-discussions, conversations with students on the disciplines "Theory and methodology of physical culture", "Physical education in preschool educational institutions", "Adaptive physical culture" were held; master class on the discipline "Gymnastics with teaching methods". Following the meeting, the head of the branch MambetovaB.Zh. and the Faculty of ENU discussed the issues of academic mobility of students, internships of the faculty of the Nukus branch
