On October 24, 2023, a festive race of students was held as part of the celebration of Republic Day. Competitions were held on the Embankment of the Esil River. The organizers of the competition are the Mayor's Office of Astana. The main goals of the event were to popularize sports, promote mass running and increase the level of sportsmanship of participants. More than 50 students participated from the Department of Physical Culture. Namely, from the group of DShS-21, DShS-25 and DShS-23, together with curators Bidold A, Megaliev M. and Malkei A. Despite the cold weather, they ran a distance of 10 km and showed high results in the race. Participants were awarded valuable gifts.
