On January 19 within the framework of the scientific project «Zhas Galym», postdoctoral students of the Department of Philosophy of the L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University A. Amangeldiev and S. Shakirov held a meeting with the Director of the Institute of Applied Ethnopolitical Studies (https://iaer.kz/). The meeting was held at the Institute of Applied Ethnopolitical Studies. During the meeting, the director of the Institute T.B. Kaliev, spoke about the main activities of the Institute. In particular, it was noted that since the opening of the Institute, special attention has been paid to issues of ethnoconflictology, ethnomediation, the study of the situation in the interethnic sphere, the definition of predictive assessments and risks using modern technologies and the introduction of digitalization, the study of the processes of ethnodemographic and ethnoeconomical development.
Also during the meeting, the issues of the main trends and factors of the development of conflictology and mediation in Kazakhstan, the effectiveness of the digitalization policy implemented in Kazakhstan today in terms of the formation of the idea of a fair Kazakhstan were discussed.
The meeting was held in the format of an open, free dialogue.
In order to achieve the set goals within the framework of the project, we had a productive meeting with the director of the Institute and agreed on further cooperation.
