On December 1, 2022, a friendly table tennis tournament was held among 1st year students of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The competitions were held in the new sports complex "Sport University". The purpose of the competition: promotion of a healthy lifestyle and the formation of a sense of patriotism among young people.
6 teams participated in the tournament. The teams were divided by lot. The students competed according to the Olympic system. All the guys showed a good game, showing skill, desire to win and sports passion. Chief judge Bidoldoy Amanbek and technical secretary Malkey Asyltek - teachers of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports held a conversation on safety at the competitions. In general, the competitions were held at a high organizational level, they brought a charge of positive emotions not only to the athletes, but also to the “spectators”. The students expressed their wish that table tennis tournaments be held more often. A warm and cozy hall, which has a large number of tables, is conducive to playing this wonderful game.
