Sultan Beybarys: history, research, heritage

On February 21, based on the concept of «Celebrating the 800th anniversary of Sultan Beybars», organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Philosophy, the event «Sultan Beybars: History, Research, heritage» was held. The main guest of the event is the philanthropist, traveler Sapar Iskakov.

Sapar Iskakov is a well–known public figure, the initiator of the reconstruction of the Sultan Beybars Mosque in Cairo.

The expedition group called «In the footsteps of our ancestors», headed by Sapar Iskakov, conducted the largest scientific and historical research in places where traces of our ancestors remained. On the same initiative, work was carried out in Egypt and Syria to restore the mausoleum of our great ancestor Sultan Beybars. During the lecture, the students showed great interest and asked questions. 

Considering the great importance of the event for our students, Sapar Iskakovich was awarded the Kultegin medal on behalf of the Rector of the University, E.B. Sydykov, for his great contribution to society, history and culture.
