On January 20, 2023, a seminar on the theme "Green School" was organized on the basis of the Lyceum school No. 62 in Astana. This event was held in accordance with the work plan of the coordination center for network interaction within the framework of the scientific project "Model "green school – green college - green university" as a system for the development of ecologization of education" (head: Professor of the Department of Pedagogy G.K. Dlimbetova). The seminar was attended by the chief researcher of the project, Professor of the Department of Physical and Economic Geography of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU Saipov A.A., geography teacher A. B. Turgambekova, ecovolonters of our University R. Baglanova and D. Tabaran.

This event was held as part of the scientific project Model "Green School - Green College - Green University (Head: Professor of the Department of Pedagogy G.K. Polombetova) and according to the work plan of the coordination center of network interaction. The seminar was performed by the chief researcher at the project professor of the Department of Physical and Economic Geography of L.N. Gumilyov ENU Saipov A.A., teacher of Geography A. B. Turgambekova, eco -volunteers of our university R. Baglanova and D. Tabaran.
Speakers spoke about the role of the continuity of environmental education in Kazakhstan, about the role of eco -volunteer activities, the world criteria “Green Metric World University Ranking” for the environmental assessment of the school. During the seminar, students of grades 10-11 actively presented their presentations and offered the adapted criteria “Green Metric World University Ranking using the example of their school.
A decision was made within the framework of the school: landscaping of both internal and external spaces of the school, the creation of ecotherapy in the territory of the school, the active development of eco -water work in the school.
