November 31, 2018 At the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Department of Physical Education and Sport organized and conducted a seminar - the “Say NO to Drugs” training for FCS students of 1,2,3 courses as part of the annual action on drug prevention. The purpose of this event: to attract the attention of students and the public to the problem of drug addiction among young people.
The seminar was attended by Musralinov Anuar Bolatuly. Specialist in social work of the city polyclinic № 8 of Astana.
With the help of a visual presentation, he highlighted this topical problem of modern society from a medical point of view. Such important topics as drug trafficking on the Internet, assistance to those in need.
Students played the situation, then discussed the most appropriate ways to solve the problem. At the end of the workshop, the “Drug and Psychotropic Substances” reminders were distributed, informed about the presence of numerous drug addicts assistance centers in the city of Astana.
The Department of Physical Culture and Sport will continue to work in this direction.
