From May 15 to May 17 of this year, the head of the Department of Pedagogy of the L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Professor Asylbekova Marzia Pazilovna and PhD student of the 3rd year of the specialty "8D01103-Pedagogy and Psychology" Suleimenova Zh.T. conducted psychological trainings with students of the 6th grade of the M.Auezov Gymnasium №86, aimed at the prevention of bullying and cyberbullying.
The trainings were organized within the framework of the target program-financing of the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan BR18574152 «Research of topical aspects and development of measures to prevent bullying against children» and aimed at increasing students' self-confidence, improving the culture of communication and empathy, preventing bullying situations and instilling skills of constructive response in conflict situations.
During the event, specially prepared booklets were distributed to students within the framework of the project, excerpts from videos were shown. Students performed training exercises with great interest, openly expressed their thoughts and showed activity.
Project manager Asylbekova Marzia Pazilovna noted that within the framework of the program «Research of topical aspects and development of measures to prevent bullying against children», work is being carried out with schoolchildren in all regions and cities of Kazakhstan.
