Within the framework of the international project "Strengthening of educational programs in Social Work, from February 12 to February 16, 2018 in the city of Kyzylorda LN Gumilyov ENU and the UNICEF office in the Republic of Kazakhstan, another cascade seminar was organized for social workers in public health, education and social protection, prosecutors, juvenile police, KUIS. Juvenile judges, specialists of the Adaptation Center for Minors and the Guardianship and Guardianship Authorities of Kyzylorda Oblast, and in addition, vocational guidance was conducted among participants and schoolchildren in Aktau.
February 12 to February 16, 2018, the faculty of sociology of the ENU. L.N. Gumilyov, head of the department Baigabylov NO, associate professors of sociology department DG Esimova and Salyzhanov RS, senior lecturer М.М Kudabekov tested and applied in teaching 2 training modules: "Social work technologies: management of anger, fear, motivation, conflict resolution and case of violence", "Supervision of social work", "Social work with children in contact with the law" for prosecutors, police, KUIS. Judges for juvenile affairs, specialists of the Adaptation Center for Minors and the Guardianship and Guardianship Authorities of Kyzylorda Oblast.
The main goal was to test the modules for improving the skills of professionals working with children in contact with the law (who committed offenses, victims and witnesses), which presents the basics of social work for working professionals in the field of social work and justice for children.
During the seminar participants actively shared their experience and knowledge in the areas of their activities, they also noted that they have an acute need for such activities at the levels of the region, this strengthens inter-agency cooperation and cooperation. Such cooperation helps to solve operatively and effectively the social problems of the region.
The completion of the cascade seminar was the delivery of certificates to its participants.
