On October 30, 2019 at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University named after L.N. Gumilev the student scientific circle "Modern problems of social pedagogy" was opened.
The Student Scientific Circle (SSC) was created with the aim of attracting students to research work in the field of modern, social and pedagogical science, assistance in preparing student scientific work for participation in scientific competitions, student scientific conferences of the republican level.
The dean of the faculty Kashhynbay Bayzhuman Baltabayevich, head of the department "Social Pedagogy and Self-Knowledge," candidate of pedagogical sciences, associated professor Slambekova Tolkyn Slamkulova, teachers of the department, as well as master students and doctoral students studying in the educational program " Social pedagogy and self-knowledge " were presented at the opening ceremony of the student scientific circle.
The dean of the faculty of social sciences Kashkhynbay Baizhuman Baltabayevich made a welcoming speech and stressed the importance of research work in the training of future social teachers, revealed the principles of development of research work of students in modern conditions.
The head of the department "Social pedagogy and self-knowledge" Slambekova Tolkyn Slamkulova focused on the need to develop research skills in the process of professional training of future social teachers, and the role of the student of scientific circle in the formation of their research competence.
The presentation on the main provisions of the activity of the student of the scientific circle was made by d.p.s., acting professor of the department "Social Pedagogy and Self-Knowledge" Urazbayeva Gulsara Tundebayevna, she revealed the goals, tasks and organizational structure of the SSC.
Candidate of pedagogical sciences, acting professor of the department "Social pedagogy and self-knowledge" Sholpankulova Gulnar Kenesbekovna made a report on the content of the research culture of a social teacher, on the structure of the research competence of a social teacher.
Sansyzbayeva Madina, a first-year master's student of the EP "Social pedagogy and self-knowledge", revealed the peculiarities of the work of a social teacher in a modern school, the importance of research projects in the practice of the social teacher. Fourth-year students in the direction of training "Social pedagogy and self-knowledge" Dzhaparova Tahmina and Nugman Gulmaral presented the advantages and opportunities for students to participate in research work, also they offered the emblem of the student scientific circle.
Scientific supervisors such as d.p.s., professor Menlibekova Gulbakhyt Zholdasbekova, professor Seitkazy Perizat Baiteshovna, c.p.s., associated professor Albitova Nazymgul Pishakbayevna, associated professor Zhumabekova Fatima Niyazbekovтa, c.p.s.
