Students of the department of social pedagogy and self-knowledge of Eurasian National University named after L.N. GUMILYOV discussed the Message of the Head of State K.K. Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan: "Kazakhstan in the new reality: time for action".
On September 18, 2020, on the online platform of the department of social pedagogy and self-knowledge, a curatorial hour was held for the 1st-year bachelor students of the following specialties: "Social pedagogy and self-knowledge", "Pedagogy and psychology" on the topic: "Message of the Head of state K. K. Tokayev "Kazakhstan in a new reality: time for action "(September 1, 2020) - a strategic document in the face of modern challenges".
The purpose of the curatorial hour is to familiarize with the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and discuss its main directions for expanding and systematizing students ' knowledge, patriotic values, views and beliefs about their state.
The event was attended by the head of the department candidate of pedagogical sciences Slambekova T.S., candidate of pedagogical sciences Mutalieva A.S., candidate of pedagogical sciences B.S. Baimenova, scientific supervisor of doctoral candidates, professor Abibulaeva A.B., as well as 2nd-year doctoral students Assanova A. B, Nabi G. A, Tazhitova G. Z.
The doctoral students held the event in two languages: state and Russian.
The main emphasis was placed on the structure of the message, which identified 11 important areas of development of the state, society, and citizens of Kazakhstan.
Particular attention was drawn to the discussion of article 5 of the paper on "Accessible and quality education." The issues of comprehensive development of children, low salaries of teachers, responsibility of akims of all levels for solving problems of schoolchildren and students in the field of sports and creative development were touched upon here. It was stressed that the President of the country proposed to strengthen the support of universities from large businesses in the development of science. The scientific world of Kazakhstan, as noted in this important document, should be based on the advanced achievements of science around the world and on innovative installations.
Participants of the event exchanged views. Completing the event, the head of the department of social pedagogy and self-knowledge, Tolkyn Slamkulovna, noted the importance of the Message in the life of each person, especially those working in the field of education, as well as all Kazakh students, emphasizing the significance of the new system of relations proposed by the Head of State: "Responsible state is a responsible society - responsible person."
