From 23th of November to 2nd of December, 2020, a scientific internship was held for undergraduates of the 2nd year of the Eurasian National university named after L. N. Gumilev, specialty 7M03103 "Psychology". This year the scientific internship was held not in the usual mode, in foreign partner universities as in previous years due to the pandemic of coronavirus infection. Despite it was held online at Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi (https://www.kaznu.kz/ru/8018). The Department of General and Applied Psychology of KazNU headed by Zabira Bekeshovna Madalieva warmly and hospitably welcomed our undergraduates (https://instagram.com/psychology.kaznu?igshid=1x73s9qv7o135) .
Online mode did not affect the quality of undergraduates' education, familiarization and communication with the teaching staff. Classes were hold interesting and informative in the form of lectures, trainings, excursions and discussions. The schedule was very busy! Undergraduates learned many interesting things at master classes from teachers of al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Candidates and doctors of psychological sciences consolidated their knowledge and taught new approaches, techniques in the fields of art therapy, music therapy, time management, clinical psychology, integrative psychology and psychological counseling. Special attention of undergraduates was paid to laboratories for psychology are the Laboratory of "Cognitive neuroscience" and the Laboratory of Psycho-Physiological and Polygraph Examinations, which would help to the sector of psychology in the Republic of Kazakhstan. University has the highest level of quality and impressed by acquaintance with the library of KazNU named after al-Farabi, internship was very informative! We express our gratitude to the leaders of the ENU and KazNU for the opportunity to complete a scientific internship in this way! Collaboration of two universities in of such event would give results! I would also like to see students/undergraduates of KazNU, Al-Farabi in the walls of the L. N. Gumelev ENU offline or online at the Department of Psychology, share our knowledge and skills, because collaboration makes science go forward!
