From September 15, 2023 to September 25, 2023, as part of the project, postdoc S. Shakirov carried out a scientific trip to the city of Almaty. On this business trip, I visited the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
At the institute, to update the topic of the project, I visited the center for political research. In particular, I had a conversation with M.A. Shaikemelev about the phenomenon of Kazakh identity in the context of conflict theory.
On September 20, 2023, a round table was held at the Center for Political Research with the participation of foreign researchers from Hungary, the city of Butapest. I am invited to this round table as a listener. Guests from Hungary – Sandor Sheremet, PhD, historian, Researcher at the Eurasian Center at the University. At the round table, questions were asked to researchers from Hungary.
On this business trip I also visited Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. To further update the topic of the project, I held conversations with the head of the Department of Philosophy A.Kuranbek and the head of the Department of Religious and Cultural Studies A.D.Kurmanalieva.
He was a participant in the regional conference “ESCAS” on the topic “Power, people and cultural changes in the constantly developing Central Asia”, which was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on September 22-23 of this year.
