On October 8, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. the Department of Sociology held a scientific and methodological seminar (SMS) with the participation of doctoral students and academic staff of the Department.
The research of the second-year doctoral students on the topics: "Designing a system for digital transparency of the activities of state bodies (using Kazakhstan as an example) and "The policy of urban development and institutional framework of Smart City in Kazakhstan" was presented at this scientific and methodological seminar. The speakers were Aliya Orazgaliyeva and Birlik Mendybayev.
The research presented by doctoral students has aroused great interest in their relevance and innovative technologies of problem solving among all the SMS participants. Following the results of the reports of doctoral students, the head of the Department N.O. Baigabylov, professors G.M. Burakanova and B.Zh. Smagambet have made recommendations for further improvement of the research of doctoral students.
