On April 20th, 2018 the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Eurasian National University Gumilev hosted an international scientific seminar on "Adult Education in the 21st Century: Challenges and Opportunities ".
The scientists and representatives of the following organizations took part in the seminar: the Russian State Social University, Omsk Humanitarian Academy (Russia), the Department for International Comparative Research of "Information-Analytical Center" of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, National Manager (Program for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies, PIAAC), "Nazarbayev University", the Eurasian National University. L.N. Gumilev, Kazakh National University of al-Farabi, Karaganda State Technical University, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, H. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University, I.Zhansugurova Zhetysu State University, Korotyta ata Kzyl-Orda State University, the University of "Tiran-Astana", Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University, S. Altynsarin Arkalyk State Pedagogical Institute, Academy of Civil Aviation, Kazakhstan Innovative University, Eurasian Technological University, Kazakh University of Technology and Business.
The purpose of the seminar: discussion of topical issues of modern andragogy in the context of the third modernization of Kazakhstan; dissemination of scientific knowledge and practical experience in the field of andragogy among scientists, teachers, students, undergraduates, doctoral students and other stakeholders.
Based on the results of the seminar, participants were awarded certificates.
