The International academic and research conference “The lifelong learning for the sustainable development: new challenges”

May, 31 - June, 1, 2018 - The international academic and research conference “The lifelong learning for the sustainable development: new challenges” has taken place on the basis of the National Academy of Education named after Y. Altynsarin of MES RK. The organizers of the conference: the National Academy of Education named after Y. Altynsarin, Nazarbaev University, Institute of lifelong learning, UNESCO (Germany, Hamburg), the Kazan (Volga) Federal university (Russia, Kazan), UNESCO/UNEVOK center at the education university of Hong Kong, National Institute of Education (Belarus, Minsk), Education Academy of Tajikistan (Dushanbe).

At the plenary session of the conference there were about 12 key reports from the leading domestic and foreign experts in the field of pedagogical education and of sustainable development. There were 4 round tables such as: 1) Lifelong education and challenges of the global world, 2) Safe educational environment as a factor of sustainable development, 3) Multilingual education: problems and prospects, 4) Person. Environment. Information society. More than 100 reports were presented at the round tables.

The doctoral candidate of “The social pedagogics and self-knowledge” department at L.N. Gumilyov ENU Abenova Saulet (the scientific consultant - professor Dlimbetova G.K.) has taken an active part in work of the conference. Her participation consisted in the discussion of problematic issues: integration of a safety component, ecological safety, sustainable development and ecology, psychology and pedagogical conditions into the organization of the volunteer movement, etc. The great interest to a scientific idea of S. Abenova was shown by the recognized scientist in the field of ecological pedagogics, the member of problem council for ecological education of The Presidium of Russian Education Academy, professor of the Ural state pedagogical university Moiseyeva Lyudmila Vladimirovna, the doctor of pedagogical sciences (Russia, Yekaterinburg).

Further, this international conference has given an opportunity to the doctoral candidate to listen to other experts in the field of sustainable development, to examine the advanced practice in the field of continuous ecological education abroad. After the end of the conference the doctoral candidate has been given the certificate for active work at the conference.
