From December 1 to December 4 of this year, the 1st Asian Asyk Atu Championship was held at the Qsport Center in Astana, organized by the Committee for Sports and Physical Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Center for National and Equestrian Sports, the National Sports Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Federation "Asyk atu".
About 80 athletes from Kazakhstan, Mongolia, India, China, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Pakistan took part in the competition, among which were students of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov, who represented Uzbekistan and China. These are Bakytbek Erin, Kaisar Umit, Toktaubek Eskat, Nurdanali Desber, Zhonibekov Bulat, Akhmetov Nursultan. Also, students of the Eurasian National University Zharylkap Sagynysh, Espembetova Guldana, Bolatov Bekzat, User Elaman, Shaimerden Danabek took an active part in the Championship as part of volunteers. Azamat Tokenovich Akhanov, senior teacher of the department of physical culture and sports, was responsible for the organization and training of teams and volunteers.
