Eco-volunteers of our university, headed by a doctoral PhD of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Self-Knowledge S. U Abenova, were invited to the event «Environmental Challenge». This event was organized by the leadership of the school-lyceum №38. One of the organizers of the conference was also a graduate student of the department of social pedagogy and self-knowledge Salimgozhinova Zh.T., who was responsible for the environmental direction "Zhasyl mektep."
Guests of such an important event were parents of students, environmentalists, volunteers, environmental scientists, teachers of the city, etc. Among the scientists, there was also the President of the International Academy of Ecology, Professor Duambekov M.
The school principal of the Lyceum No.38 Azímbay Kamila Karіmberdqyzy was the first to make an urgent appeal «To preserve our planet and live in harmony with it».
Our eco-volunteers witnessed an organized exhibition of handicrafts made from needlework, where you could see new possibilities of using unnecessary items. Plastic bottles, plastic bags, candy wrappers, egg trays, shoe boxes and many other items formed the basis of handicrafts. Such work teaches schoolchildren to observe the regime of universal economics and thrift. The walls of the school were decorated with eco-stands and posters on the topic of resource conservation. Thanks to them, the interior of the school has become an element of ecological and aesthetic education and the preparation of a creative personality. Older students organized a flash-mob calling for living in harmony with nature and saving the resources of our planet.
The key idea of the «relationship of ecololonters at the ENU. L.N. Gumilyov with schoolchildren» promoted within the framework of the project «Ecologization of the university education system as an innovative way to modernize the spiritual consciousness of students» S.U. Abenova and Z.T. Salimgozhinova in the implementation of the concept of modernization of the spiritual consciousness, proposed by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev.
