Today article is the first President «Рухани жаңғыру» aimed at revival of spirituality and traditions of the Kazakh people, opens the way to a familiar event in a new vector.
In this direction, an international conference "Trends and prospects of tourism development in Kazakhstan"was held on the basis of the Kazakh national pedagogical University named after Abai.
The event was attended by representatives of George Washington University, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, representatives of management bodies, scientists and teaching staff of Universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad, participants of the tourist market, public organizations, student volunteers.
The issues discussed at the plenary and breakout sessions were: the practice and trend of tourism development, ethnic and sacred tourism, environmental and social tourism, business and health tourism, tourism development on the silk road, the development of tourism and environment integration, the role of inter-entrepreneurship in tourism and environmental education.
From the Department of social pedagogics and self-knowledge of ENU named after L. N. Gumilyov, the conference was attended and presided at the section "Environmental and social tourism" Professor Dlimbetova G. K. In the discussion it was noted that ecology is an important factor when choosing a place tourist trips.
The great interest of the participants was aroused by the master class held by the Director of the faculty of master's tourism management "Tourism as an Engine for Development: Business Tourism and Wellness Tourism", Liang (Larry) Yu. Active participants in the master class were awarded certificates of George Washington University.
The participants of the conference expressed interest in further development of cooperation and hope for the expansion of international relations in priority areas of tourism and environmental activities in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
